Yesss, yesss. I know back to back wax hauls, but I'm slightly obsessed. Wax anonymous much? Any who, here's my first of three (hides face) Yankee Candle hauls. Thanks to Candledancer's Candle Corner and Scented Wax Retails groups on Facebook I've found a new liking for Yankee Candle.
Votives and tarts both retail for $1.99 USD each. The votives are said to give up to 15 hours of burn time and you get 1.75 oz (49 g) of product. Tarts have a fragrance life of up to 8 hours and you get 0.8 oz (22 g) of product. I think since the votives and tarts cost the same that the votives would be better off used as wax melts because you get double the product and can make anywhere from 2-4 "tarts" from one votive. I'll be using mine as tarts. Check out the haul video below!

A week after this haul was recorded, I took 5 tarts and 3 votives to the store so that I could exchange them for other scents. The ones I took back are:
Vanilla Lime - didn't care for the mix of vanilla and lime together.
Sweet Strawberry - smelt like artificial strawberries
Margarita Time - too much lime and something else was just off putting on cold
Golden Sands - didn't care for the smell because it had hints of the caramel pecan pie in it; maybe next trip to the store I'll re-sniff it.

Caramel Pecan Pie - smelled like ass because there was just too much walnut and pecans mixed with the caramel. I don't think nuts and caramel mix well in wax form.
Pink Dragon Fruits - took both of them back. Not a fan of pink dragon fruit scents.
I honestly couldn't stand these scents and wasn't going to chance melting them. I took them in during the $20 off $45 deal and ended up buying some meltcups to go along with the Scenterpiece I ordered. Those two hauls will be coming soon.
