Hello my loves! This page is where you can find out my rating system, the warmers I own, wattage they are and how I use various types of wax. I'll also share the other tools I use as well when it comes to my wax.
Rating System
5☆ - I loved everything about this: scent, throw, longevity and more. It's a must have.
4☆ - I liked it enough I would probably repurchase it.
3☆ - It was pretty good. A 50/50. It didn't throw well, but had a nice scent or vice versa
2☆ - It was okay, but wouldn't buy it again.
1☆ - I hated it. No throw, no scent -- not worth buying.
Warmers Owned
Patriot Candles Wall Warmer from
Walgreens. A 15 watt plugin warmer that I have in the bathroom. I use one cube at a time with window and bathroom door closed. Dual packs from Walmart (
ScentSationals or BHG) I use 2 cubes (
one of each scent). Not super strong, but does the job for my tiny bathroom.
Patriot Candles Dual Warmer from
Walgreens. A 20 watt hot plate warmer that's good with tarts, oils and candles (
fits BBW candles). Use this with paraffin or para-soy (
75% paraffin, 25% soy) based wax melts. Melts can last anywhere from 8 hours to a whole 24 hours depending on the scent, sometimes more. I do use fragrance oils with this as well.
Dove Weave Scenterpiece warmer from
Yankee Candle. A 13 watt warmer that uses melt cups. I use Meltcups with this and replace the wax with soy or soy-para (
75% soy, 25% paraffin) based wax melts. Throws and lasts for 2 or maybe 3 days max with soy based melts. Haven't personally tried it with paraffin wax yet.
Mainstays White warmer from
Walmart. A 24 watt hot plate warmer. I use this in the kitchen solely with paraffin based wax melts. Gives amazing throw and melts last for about 5-6 hours in it. If I decide to use soy based melts they will throw for about 3-4 hours.
Other Tools
To cut my loaves and tarts when I need to I use a 7 inch stainless steel crinkle soap cutter that I got from
Amazon for $6.99 USD with free shipping (
thanks to Amazon Prime).
If I use any new tools, buy new warmers or etc I will add them to this page with more info on them.
Happy Melting!
